Release of v0.3!


Hello, I'm still here! This update has actually been live on the Patreon for quite some time, so it's about time I brought it out to the public! 

Outside of patch notes, there is one important thing of note: I lied. Originally the previous version was intended to be the final one that featured a Web build.
... well I figured out how to squish the assets a bit and now we have a definitive final Web Version titled Web Demo (it might even run a bit better than the previous web build, actually!)

And with that out of the way, it's time for the good ol' patch notes. (Spoiler Warning!)

== v0.3.0 ==
Current version date limit, which you can't go past: start of Month 6

New Gameplay Additions:

  • Added a Phone to the menu bar from which you can call various contacts.
  • Added Item Crafting
  • Added various Gym Buff consumables
  • Added an exercising partner mechanic to the gym minigame.
  • Added a Clock to your room that lets you advance time without doing any activity.

New storylines:

  • Arnold: first scene.
  • Ikem: first two scenes added, relating to the new gym partner mechanic.

Continued Storylines:

  • Main storyline: second job.
  • Ted/Darwin: added plotline up to first fishing scene with Darwin.
  • Beau: second battle.

Content Additions:

  • You are now actually getting paid for working for the Stout, wowie 
  • Added cards added to card crafting.
  • Added "Shining Zest" and "Odious Zest" relating to BUF and DBF cards respectively (+ Retroactively added their gain to main story events, old saves will be compensated accordingly).
  • Re-opened access to Forest after finishing the aftermath of first job. Allows you to collect a few select materials.
  • Increased Max. Gym Level to 12.

Customization:

  • Added various eyebrow, eye, nose and mouth options to the character creator.
  • Added a Mirror to your room that allows you to re-edit basic character features.
  • Added facial hair options to Barber's.
  • Added 6 more hairstyles.
  • Added beanie and 3 more glasses to the Shop.
  • Added 1 unique story-related hat.
  • Added 'Plain Shirt' Outfit to Shop.

Changes - Cards:

  • Reduced cost and effect of "Unfit" card
  • Increased energy gain from "Hibernation Weight", "Lazy Day" and "Spring Cleaning". "Spring Cleaning" also now discards an additional card.
  • "This hand sucks" now draws the amount of cards that were shuffled back into the Deck.
  • Decreased cost and increased effect of "Insatiable" line of cards.

Changes - Gym Cards:

  • Increased cost of "Steel Yourself"
  • Decreased the cost of "Just getting started"
  • "Keep going" now also reduces hand size by 1. 

Changes - Misc.:

  • Eating at the pub now triggers crafting faster and more consistently.
  • Slightly tweaked the waiting time during the fishing minigame
  • Increased Temp. Fat Burn reward from jogging

QoL:

  • Added warning before the battle in the fishing plotline
  • Added an option to settings to slow down "center messages"
  • The game now autosaves in your room after sleeping, rather than after you return to the overworld.

Dialogue:

  • Rewrote some dialogue from section after returning from the forest assignment to better communicate features such as Zest and Crafting.

Bug fixes:

  • Gym: cards that alter Endurance now use the correct cost as indicated by the UI (instead of using a different cost caused by recalculation after changing Endurance)

== v0.3.1 ==

New:

  • Added "Data Management" menu to title screen that allows you to import and export save files.
  • Save files can now be labelled with a text description.

Additions:

  • Added Red, Palm Tree and Peach Striped shirt variants to shop.
  • Save slots expanded from 7 to 12.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed error in phone call with Beau.
  • Fixed issue with clothes not getting removed after being destroyed.
  • Fixed centering of characters during dialogue on wide screen devices.

Changes:

  • "Defeat Enthusiast" now ignores Statuses.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed issue with equipping regular-sized clothes between 40-43 Wgt
  • Fixed issue with Scrap Clothing disappearing

is there a walkthrough guide?

There's some crudely written notes available on Patreon, but I wouldn't quite call them walkthroughs.

hm... why can't I give the materials to the doctor ? I have everything and it's a new save file too. is that the limit of this build ?

That's a bug that snuck through while I was working on other stuff! I've just released a quick update which should fix this.
